Service
Health
HEALTH COUNSEL - Discuss concerns with church and community people - often as a means of outreach. (Parish nurses do not perform "hands on" nursing care)
EDUCATE - Promote understanding in church and community of the relationship between lifestyle, attitudes, faith and wellness.
ADVOCATE - Support sick people and families facing health systems complexities.
LIAISON - share awareness of available government and community resources.
TEACH - Instruct people in the church and community, train volunteers regarding health related issues through newsletters, talks, classes, and bulletin boards.
HEAL - Probably the most significant contribution: praying with sick and needy people

It is exciting to see how God is speaking to individuals in our congregation about serving Him. There are many individuals in our church family that strive to help local ministries, as well as go on mission trips, both short and long term. I want to share just a little about some of the outreaches of LLCF.
Free Methodist World Missions has ministries in 72 countries worldwide. Our local church helps support (financially and by prayer) missionaries in the UK, Ukraine, Nigeria, France and Latin America. It is always a special joy to have them come and share their work with us when they are in the States.
Our KIDZONE childrens programs help support four children in Haiti and one from the Philippines through International Child Care Ministries.
Light & Life Christian Fellowship reaches out to others in many ways. All ages are excited to support Operation Christmas Child, through Samaritan's Purse. This consists of packing shoe box gifts for needy children around the World.
I am so excited about the work that God is doing in and through the many opportunities we encounter to serve eachother and those less fortunate than ourselves.
God Bless,
